American Reunion Release Date

The next ‘American’ instalment American Reunion is set to be released on 6 April 2012. The original American Pie crew are set to all gather back on screen for a sort of reunion.

These films, as silly as they are, are always dependably funny. I’m sure most people under the age of 30 have seen most, if not all of the films in this series. For the fans who started out watching from the very first American Pie, this film should bring a certain amount of nostalgia to them. The plot of the film has not been revealed but I presume it will be a reunion of all the characters and seeing how they have grown up and what they have accomplished. All with the notoriously crude but hilarious comedy American Pie is known for.

Hollywood News has named Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein and Eugene Levy all to be on the film. While side players Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid and Mena Suvari are expected to return as well.

If the plot is how I predict it to be then this should be the final film in the series as it would be hard to go on further after that. If they do go on further then I fear it will go horribly wrong. All good things do need to come to an end.
