The title alone has my attention. Like many, I’ve had my fair share of horrible bosses, from kewpie-doll tyrants to stapler-throwing madmen.
Horrible Bosses is the story of three friends who decide that they need to get rid of their bosses who are making their lives a living hell. Of course it wouldn’t be fair to point out that they could always, I don’t know, resign. Nevertheless the film has a stellar cast – Jason Bateman, Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston, in what is said to be her raunchiest role yet.
Directed by Seth Gordon (The King of Kong, Freakanomics, Four Christmases), the likelihood is that we’ve seen this all before. From the trailer it looks like a mish-mash of The Office, Strangers on a Train/Throw Momma from the Train with a dash of Disclosure.
