Adam Sandler needs to be funny again

Twenty minutes into Adam Sandler's Grown Ups and I realise this really is just a bunch of has-been comedians with tired jokes and some daft ones.

Adam Sandler needs to cease from his glut of bad children's or family films. Or is Grown Ups for adults?

Bring back the Adam Sandler of the 1990s or get him to play a villain or a serious role as in Punch-Drunk Love. Fine, Punch-Drunk Love was the kind of rare great film that few actors can be expected to star in twice.

Nevertheless, I'd like some more Waterboy and some less Just Go With It. I did say he would be in that animated film about monsters, so maybe that is a start.
